Absolute address

Method to switch operations by reading the number of address marker that is applied near the magnetic tapes.

Automatic Guided Vehicle

Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) that runs and loads/unloads manually or automatically.

Bumper Sensor

The device to stop AGV when it touches an obstacle.

Drive Wheel Free mechanism

The mechanism that the drive unit is lifted up or lowered electrically. It's useful when AGV is trundled by operators.

Emergency stop button

The button to stop AGV in the event of emergency.

Loading type

To load workpieces on AGV.

Magnetic

Method to guide AGV by detecting magnetic force.

Main control board

The main circuit part to control AGV.

No programmable

AGV runs on a single route and stops at every spot.Only stop function, stop and speed change function are available.

Optical method

Method to detect the guidance tapes by reflecting light

Overload detection

The function to activate the circuit protector when overcurrent flows to the motor.

Obstacle sensor

The device to detect obstacles on AGV running route.

Programmable

A running program is settable to specify several destinations.

Running program

The program that AGV's operations are prearranged.

Speed change

The function to change running speed to improve takt time or fine positioning.

Signal tower

The device to draw the attention of workers to AGV by lighting up or blinking.

Loading weight

The weight of workpieces that AGV conveys

Ten key

The input device to set AGV program or running speed.

Touch panel

The input device to set AGV program or running speed. It's multi-functional compared with ten key type.

Towing

AGV tows a dolly or other.

Alarming device

The device to draw the attention of workers to AGV. Melody and signal tower are used.

AGV

AGV stands for Automatic Guided Vehicle, an unmanned carrier.

Count up

Method to switch operations by counting the number of spot marker that is applied near the magnetic tapes.

Marker Pattern

Method of switch operations by reading the pattern of spot marker that is applied near the magnetic tapes.  Stop, speed change and other operations are available.

Marker Stop

Method to stop AGV at a spot where the spot marker is applied near the magnetic tapes.

Magnetic tape

Tape for AGV guiding

Optical Tape

Tape for AGV guiding

Tape cut (Gap reading)

Method to stop AGV at a spot where the magnetic tape was cut by 50mm.

Workpiece

An object to be conveyed.
